UCSD American Chemical Society Student Chapter Honorable Mention Award
The UCSD Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society has been selected to receive an Honorable Mention Award for activities conducted during the 2011-12 academic year. The Committee on Education reviewed over 362 reports and presented 46 outstanding, 81 commendable and 114 honorable mention awards. Lists of award winning chapters will be published in Chemical & Engineering News and in the November/December issue of inChemistry, the student member magazine. Award winning chapters will be honored at the 245th ACS National Meeting in New Orleans on April 7, 2013. The award letter commends the chapters faculty advisors, Associate Professor Judy Kim and Lecturer PSOE Stacey Brydges, for making the great commitment of time and energy that a successful chapter requires.
